Sanchez and Vargas Star in Live AIDS Benefit Show

Before comediennes Giselle Sanchez and Tuesday Vargas rose to fame, they were once proud students of the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication (UP CMC).  This year, the two are set to return to their alma mater neither as students nor showbiz personalities—but as philanthropists.

The two will perform with their organization the UP Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Komunikasyon (UP SAMASKOM) in The Live A.I.D.S. Monologues.  Live A.I.D.S. (Ang Istoryang Dinebelop ng Samaskom) is an annual comedy variety show produced, directed, and staged by members of the said organization.

Now on its 23rd season, the show aims to do more than just making countless people roar with laughter.  This time, thousands are bound to benefit as the organization is donating the proceeds to the UP CMC Foundation to support the development projects for the college.

Joining Sanchez and Vargas for The Live A.I.D.S. Monologues are R.S. Francisco, Ate Glow, Miro Valera (Stonefree), Kris Gorra (Cambio), and other fabulous SAMASKOM alumni and resident members.  The Live A.I.D.S. Monologues is directed by ABS-CBN Global executive Ned Legaspi.  Show dates are on February 2, 3 and 4 at the Abelardo Auditorium in UP Diliman.

Enjoy a night full of witty punch lines, infectious laughter and thrilling production numbers and be philanthropists in your own way.  Live A.I.D.S. is proudly brought to you by UP SAMASKOM and E-Telecare.
